IT / Per gli antichi si trattava, al di là della nascita del bambin Gesù, introdotta più tardi, di celebrare l’entità più importante di tutti: il Sole. Ma a cosa è consacrato il Natale oggi? A voi la risposta, a noi non interessa poi tanto. Ciò che vi proponiamo in questo numero è il viaggio introspettivo di ogni illustratore rispetto a questa festività. Il Natale non lascia indifferenti: c’è chi lo aspetta, chi lo teme, chi crede ancora alle favole e chi no (peggio per lui). Spesso c’è qualcosa di noi che resta attaccato a quello strano periodo dell’anno in cui siamo in attesa di non si sa bene cosa (sì va bene i regali, ma non è solo quello). Abbiamo immaginato che questo qualcosa potesse essere come uno spettro, uno spirito legato a un tempo della nostra vita dal quale siamo noi a decidere se liberarci o no. Datevi un’occhiata attorno prima di continuare a sfogliare, perché state per entrare in un mondo molto intimo.

Feel free to give your own answer. That answer is not so important for us. What we propose to you in this issue is each illustrator’s introspective journey throughout this holiday. Christmas does not leave us indifferent. Some people wait for it, some fear it, some still believe in fairy tales, some don’t (too bad for them). Often, there is some part of us which remains devoted to this unusual time of the year in which we are waiting for we do not know what (ok, gifts are good, but that is not it). We imagined that this something special could be a ghost, a spirit tied to a time of our life which we can decide to get rid of or not. Just have a quick look around before keeping on leafing through because you are about to enter a very intimate world.
